
The Criminal Court of Kosovo is reviewing the second case against the former mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro, who is accused of abuse of office more than once, committed in collaboration.
The Black Platoons accepted the request of SPAK prosecutor Elvin Gokaj for the approval of the indictment and the transfer to trial, as well as the defense's request for a summary trial.
The court hearing on the merits will take place on May 20. Goro was sued by Fredi Beleri, alleging that he donated 4,263 meters of land to his appointed successor at the head of the Municipality, Arqile Bollano, in 2016.
Defendants in this case include Vasillaq Strakosha, former director of the Directorate of Land Protection and Management at the Himara Municipality, and Jerasimo Bashi, former director of the Directorate of Land Protection and Management at the Himara Municipality.
