Lawyer Ledio Braho has reacted regarding the serious accident the day before in Durrës, where two minors lost their lives.
In his post, he writes that the penalty is 5 to 20 years in prison for this crime and most likely, the perpetrator will receive the maximum sentence.
Braho: The penalty range for today's incident in Durrës is from 5 to 20 years in prison, and more than likely the perpetrator will be sentenced to the maximum of the provision, but where was the State Police in preventing this incident, since from the testimonies of the residents of the area, it seemed that they had been warned?!
The Law on the State Police has changed several times in the last 10 years, and two new laws have even been approved during the 3 governing mandates, and community policing is one of the bases of the Police's functioning to prevent crimes, but from the results it is clear that there is no community policing, because if there was, at least this serious event would have been prevented.
Apparently, the State Police only makes news for director changes and has turned into a mobile police force just for the neighborhoods.
Condolences to the family for this loss so great that it cannot be described in words.
