An Albanian, about 30 years old, was killed in Spain. The young man was abandoned on Sunday at the emergency doors of the hospital of the city of Girona with a stab wound in the abdomen and in cardiorespiratory arrest. The Spanish media write that it has been possible to identify the victim.
At the time of abandonment, he was without documents. But the authorities, after checking the license plate of the car in which the victim arrived through the center's surveillance cameras, found its driver. Now they are trying to reconstruct his last hours of life to find out who killed him.
The incident happened around 07:00 on Sunday, when a vehicle stopped at the center's emergency door. Upon seeing him, a nurse and a doctor from the service helped to remove a man who had a stab wound to his abdomen and was in cardiorespiratory arrest from the car. The car quickly left the place.
For 45 minutes, the doctors tried to revive the 30-year-old Albanian, but without luck.
Investigators have analyzed the contents of the hospital's video surveillance cameras along with security personnel in an effort to see the license plate of the vehicle that left the victim at the emergency room and drove away. They also took a statement from the health workers who treated him.
The owner of the vehicle that left the Albanian at the door of the hospital was another citizen of Albanian origin living between the Maresme and La Selva regions. This Monday morning, he was given a statement at the Vista Alegre police station in Girona. Thanks to this statement, the agents discovered that the victim, like the driver, was of Albanian origin and about 30 years old.
