Strakosha's best season in his career: 17 clean sheets and expected penalties

Thomas Strakosha is having the best season of his career with AEK, being the undisputed starter in goal.

The Albanian goalkeeper has conceded three penalties on the road, against Kifisia, Panathinaikos and PAOK, directly affecting the team's results.

In the last match at Toumba against PAOK, he stopped a penalty taken by Giorgos Giakoumakis.

Strakosha has recorded 17 clean sheets in 33 appearances in all competitions.

He has played around 3,000 minutes this season, being active both in the championship and in Europe.

According to statistics, the average number of goals conceded is lower than expectations.

His form has also been supported by stability in the team and work with the goalkeeping coach.
